+++ Design Exchange Launches eBiz Toronto
The Design Exchange recently used a breakfast lecture to launch its not-for-profit
organization, eBiz Toronto. The group, said to be the first of its
kind in Canada, was created in order to promote the many advantages
of electronic business. eBiz Toronto plans to enlist support in the
private sector, educational institutions and governments in an
effort to "'empower owners of small to medium- businesses to implement
e-business strategies and technologies." "Many studies and reports
show that businesses that fail to seize the opportunities of buying,
selling and communicating online risk becoming less competitive,"
says Anya Colussi, founder and chair of eBiz Toronto. eBiz Toronto

regulator to force Rogers to stop running the ads. The complaint
claims that Rogers is using its monopoly cable service to promote its
